VCA Bering Sea Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced full-time Client Service Representative (CSR). VCA Bering Sea is a general practice and urgent care animal hospital. We value teamwork and mutual respect for one another, regardless of rank. You will not hear “That’s not my job” but rather, “How can I help?” We practice Fear Free, a current approach in veterinary medicine that utilizes practices to help patients feel more at ease, reducing the traumatic and fearful responses that are often seen in veterinary hospitals.
We love to have fun here and enjoy a light atmosphere. We prioritize employee satisfaction because if our employees are happy, then we will do our best work. We keep our fridge stocked with snacks and our Nerf guns loaded! Bi-weekly check-ins with management are a part of the culture to address concerns on a frequent basis.
The CSR position serves as the first point of contact for our clients and sets the tone for the rest of the clients’ experiences. Therefore, qualified candidates must be personable, professional, and courteous. CSRs must be proficient in multi-tasking, completing daily tasks, and prioritizing patient health and clients satisfaction. This position is fast-paced and often hectic; the ability to remain calm under pressure is a must. While veterinary experience is not required, it is a plus.
Common duties for this position include:
Answering multi-line telephones
Record management
Recording client interactions
Health certificates and MOA Licenses
Confirming appointments
Follow-up calls
Processing payments
Collaborating with veterinarians and assistants for continuation of care
Copying and scanning documents
