Client Manager Anesthesia Physician Revenue Cycle Services Overview of PositionThe Client Manager owns the relationship with our customer and is the representative of the Change Healthcare brand and customer experience.
This individual will spend time listening to our clients and provide thoughtful solutions to their business needs.
The Client Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationship by earning trust, following through on commitments and ensuring that our customers are maximizing the value that Change Healthcare can provide.
They do this by coordinating with various partners within the company to ensure client requests are handled appropriately (i.E.
within time and budget) while balancing client needs with company profitability.
This is a remote/telecommuter position.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, focusing on key contacts and decision-makers and coordinates with operations to drive performance and foster an environment to minimize attrition.Proactively manages client requests for additional information as it relates to: payer trends, system interfaces, compliance, coding, regulatory changes, and budget variance and cash flow.Identifies trends, educates the client and recommends actions to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.Stays abreast of internal and external changes to understand current and future state and provide value to the client.Serves as the liaison between the client and operationsIdentifies client improvement opportunities to enable the most efficient workflows for the clients account receivableDrives and delivers business reviews/client meetings on a regular basis with high level of planning and professionalism.Prepares agenda, handouts, and presentations to ensure all client needs are being met as it relates to: financial performance, current trends, future needs of the business, operational excellence, and metrics.Works collaboratively with Operations and Analyst to ensure proper information is reviewed and presented.Collaborates on new client implementations including: system interfaces, client set-up, contract review and liaison with Legal, and operational setup.Works collaboratively across functions to ensure operational excellence related to AR, payments, coding, customer service and all related services.Ensures mutual understanding of goals, objectives and action plans related to Clients revenue and book of business.
What are the requirements needed for this position?5+ years healthcare practice management and medical billing experience specifically with Anesthesia practicesCandidates must possess a solid background in all aspects (front/middle/back-end) of physician revenue cycle managementStrong reporting and analysis skills are essential so intermediate advanced Excel skills are key to include doing pivot tables & V-Lookups.
Must have experience in identifying/reviewing trends in physician revenue cycle performanceExcellent communication and presentation skills are required to include proven ability to work effectively with physicians and senior managementCandidate must be PC proficient with MS Office products especially MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPointUnderstanding of payer & provider contractsExperience doing revenue projections, budgets, forecasts, etc.
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
General office demands How much should I expect to travel?Post COVID travel restrictions, this role will do up to 15% overnight travel.
Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
