About UsOverviewREPORTS TO: PROGRAM MANAGER LOCATION: 692 Blake Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11207 HOURS: Full time – 35hours weekly JOB SUMMARY: The call center Operator provides customer service to community residents and responds to inquiries regarding the ERAP. Operators also prescreen for eligibility and schedule appointments to complete applications. Call center Operators also provide follow up information pertaining to application status. MAJOR DUTIES:• Manage inbound calls to ensure effective and timely resolutions of inquiries.• Make outbound calls to respond to messages.• Prescreen residents for ERAP eligibility.• Schedule appointments with Case Workers to complete ERAP applications. • Submit daily and weekly data reports.• Attend daily and weekly team check-ins. • Attend trainings as needed QUALIFICATIONS:• Solid organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must have a commitment to work from a strength based and/or youth development perspective.• Must have active listening and organizational skills.• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Additional InformationGood Shepherd Services is an equal opportunity employer that is proudly committed to becoming an anti-racist and multicultural organization that stands up for justice and equity.
