A labor union located in the Wall Street area of Manhattan is seeking Call Center Agents to assist members with benefits and membership inquiries.
This is a temp to possible hire opportunity.
On the temp side it will pay $19/hr and on the perm, its paying between $38K-$42K plus union benefits.
The schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-6pm with 3 days reporting into the office and 2 days working remote.
Remote days may vary depending on the needs of the client.
Responsibilities:
Will be a conduit for all member calls that come in.
Will be responsible for routing calls to the appropriate subject matter expert, similar to 311.
Representative must use customer service skills and personality to assist callers in their area of expertise.
Use of salesforce to document relevant notes.
Training will be provided, though relevant experience in a call center or customer service capacity is preferred.
Individuals capable of multi-tasking and that are tech savvy namely with salesforce are highly preferred as well.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have experience in a call center managing high volume calls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Flexibility to work onsite and remote.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
