Call Center

Our company manages three types of call centers for our clients:

* Nurse Triage (requires an RN degree and handles patient concerns outright)
* After-Hours Triage (medical experience is preferred and the job is mostly taking messages then forwarding them to healthcare providers on call)
* Total Call Center (answering calls for our clients then processing patients requests such as appointments, prescription refills, etc)

All employees are independent contractors in this service. The majority of the staff work flexible hours and from home. We put calls in a queue that routes calls to the staff that is available at the moment. You can access our phone system from your desktop, an app on your cell phone, or a forwarded call directly to your cell phone. After-hours staff typically work after 4:00 pm until 9:00 am with the majority of calls arriving from 6:00 – 8:00 pm; they also work on the weekends.

Pay for most calls are done on a per phone call or per minute of talk time basis. Depending on the day, some call center staff earn between $14 and $50 per hour depending on their efficiency and the incoming call volume.

Training is provided and the provided platform explains step-by-step what to do for each client. The job is simple from a process standpoint but it can be taxing when you’re receiving a torrent of calls or you’re getting calls late at night.

The ideal candidate would already be working on-call for a call center and would be able to take our calls simultaneously. We prefer candidates with some medical experience but we’re willing to train those without any. There are many other opportunities with our organization as well.
