Responsible for the Trade Management Planner and Claims functions for all assigned lines. Responsible for claims management responsibilities on a national platform in a crisis environment.

Maintain client proprietary sales planners and tracking systems for Acosta Business Managers and/or Client Business Managers.

Assist Acosta Business Manager/Client Business Managers in managing Market Development Funds according to client’s requirements.

Assist the Claims Management Supervisor by assuming additional Claims Management responsibilities as needed.

Assume responsibility for Claims management functions for key complex customers within the hub.

Review and validate Claims with knowledge, experience, and research, communicating with internal and external groups as needed.

Process valid Claims in accordance with claims management guidelines (i.e. select proper step code or issue check request).

Handle invalid Claims in accordance with claims management guidelines, through resolution. Create and send repay letter, invalid check request letter, and uncollectible letter. Follow up with internal and external parties.

Extract various information from the client proprietary system, when needed, to assist with validation.

Record status of Claim and funds available in Acosta claim management system.

Review dashboard for alerts on a daily (hourly) basis.

Maintain a client manual to include the client information form, price list, and deduction procedures (hard copy).

Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate parties, include Business Managers, Claims Specialist and Claims Management Supervisor.

Enter promotions in Event Scheduler for Client Region Managers if required.

Generate monthly deduction reports as needed.

Provide reports for Acosta Business Managers and Client Business Managers.

Assist the Claims Management Supervisor and Sales Support Regional Manager in the development of client procedures to be observed by all offices.

Maintain excellent working relationships with Customers, Clients and co-workers.

Perform special assignments for the company and/or branch as needed.

Associate in Arts Degree or equivalent work experience.

Four years claims experience preferred.

Sales Agency experience and/or clients’ experience in sales administration is strongly preferred.

Relationship management experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.

Effectively communicate with others.

Able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, copier and shredder.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
