As the company’s second line of defense, Corporate Risk — or Independent Risk Management — provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo’s risk management program and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of, the frontline’s execution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to the Risk Management Framework and ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk.
Corporate Risk Strategy Planning & Governance Office (SP&G)
The Strategy and Planning and Governance Office is responsible for supporting Wells Fargo’s Chief Risk Officer in managing the Corporate Risk function, its primary functions include: Corporate Risk Business Strategy, Planning and Operations; Governance; Corporate Risk Technology & Data Architecture; Corporate Risk Front Line Risk Oversight, Corporate Risk Global Delivery; and General Business Administration.
Bus Support Functional Cons 1 – Corporate Risk Strategy Planning & Governance Consultant, Commercial Banking (1)
This newly created position is part of the Commercial Banking Chief Risk Officer (CRO) organization business-aligned model within Corporate Risk. The person selected for this position will be responsible for a variety of strategic priorities and planning activities within the Commercial Banking CRO organization, including program management, governance and oversight, and monitoring the execution of relevant risk programs.
