Cox Communications is searching for an Automation Analyst & Support Specialist II.

In this role, you will work with the Billing & Payment Assurance team to analyze and translate business requirements to and from stakeholders while enhancing and supporting the functionality within the companys automation application.

The scope of this position includes gathering and verifying requirements from both inside and outside teams/vendors, translating business requirements into technical requirements, as well as translating technical designs and issues to stakeholders.

You will also develop automation jobs in Control-M based on technical requirements and communicate project and task statuses to stakeholders as well as management.

Lastly, you will help define new automation opportunities within the Billing Operations department, and participate in on-call rotation to triage automation issues.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
– Prioritize, coordinate, and deliver work based on strategic objectives laid out by management.

– Work together with other department personnel as a team to ensure all customers, both external and internal, have all of their data processing needs met.

– Ensure all issues are communicated promptly and accurately to the appropriate people.

– Help identify and implement improvements to the processes within the Billing Operations department.

– Ensure the accuracy of data transferred to and from third parties.

– Assist in the creation of documentation for all procedures in the team.

– Identify and acquire training and knowledge in areas key to improving customer service, technical ability, and job performance.

– Help enforce all policies and procedures and ensure they are followed as set forth by management.

– Drive innovation through automation
– Learn automation application and functionality in order to be able to support production automation jobs
– Participate in team on-call rotation to help triage issues outside of office hours Qualifications: Minimum: Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S.

based job.

– Experience with scripting languages (Bash, DOS, KSH, JSON, PowerShell, etc)
– Experience with admin tasks in both Windows and Linux operating systems
– Experience with encryption methods (PGP, GPG, etc)
– 2 years of Business Analyst experience
– Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to lead group calls and assemble meeting notes
– Comfortable creating and adhering to project tasks and deadlines
– Must be able to work as part of an integrated team
– Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service to both internal and external customers
– Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required
– Ability to quickly absorb and utilize new concepts and technologies Preferred:
– Experience with the Netcracker ICOMS application.
