Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring an Associate III, in the customer service team, at our Newport Labs facility in Worthington, MN.  Newport Labs supports livestock producers and helps protect national protein supply by manufacturing custom-made, vaccines, mainly for swine and cattle.  The Company is offering a $1000 Sign-On bonus and Relocation benefits (when applicable) for qualified hires.  A passion for science, technology and animals drives our employees. In this position, the incumbent ensures customer satisfaction through timely, efficient and accurate service and supports Regulatory Affairs department in the processing of post approval regulatory documents and assists department in various regulatory activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing product orders.  Insure records and documents for autogenous orders are properly filled out and maintained.
  • Coordinates with Regulatory Affairs colleagues to update and maintain relevant regulatory processes and databases in compliance with government regulations and BI procedures and policies.
  • Assists in various regulatory activities, such as compiling submission related documents, development and review of department procedures, file maintenance, record retention, state registrations and support to colleagues.
  • Responsible for assisting external customers with various requests. Including, but not limited to: shipment of product and /or diagnostic shippers, additional diagnostic testing, status of product orders/diagnostic testing, inquires on pricing for diagnostics/autogenous, placement of autogenous orders.
  • Awareness of up-to-date information regarding pricing, special offerings, pricing programs and promotions.
  • Responsible for entry of all diagnostic submissions in USA LIMS.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree, preferably with a science focus, from an accredited institution required.
  • Bachelors degree, preferably with a science focus, preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a role working with documents requiring a high attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and follow applicable government regulations and company procedures and policies.
  • General knowledge and respect for regulatory compliance is important.
  • Requires significant attention to detail and maintaining a high standard for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and multiple task management
  • Requires minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)and Adobe Acrobat required.  Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, USA LIMS, HerdPoint, NCAH Portal, archive systems and/or compliance related databases preferred.
  • Ability to work within a structured, fast paced environment, delivering personalized service.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
