Applications Support Specialist

Employer Advantage is seeking an Applications Support Specialist in the Overland Park, KS area.

This is an entry-level position, with the responsibilities of providing basic support for our time and labor and HRIS applications.

Our next Team Member will have excellent customer service skills and be able to clearly communicate information to the end users.

Knowledge of labor and timekeeping systems, such as Kronos Workforce Ready, as well as familiarity with payroll and benefit systems is a huge plus.

A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Mad skills in Microsoft Office Applications are required.

Typical responsibilities for this position include: Handling Applications Support Desk issues through tickets or phone for clients and internal staff.

Monitoring and managing ticket trends to determine system issues and when additional education is needed.

Engaging with the software vendors for resolution and education.

Supporting the Application Team with larger projects and setups.

Traveling to client locations for clock installation and setup.

Providing education for clients and internal staff on application solutions.

Creating monthly education articles for clients and internal staff.

Working directly with the Time and Labor Specialist with all aspects of the time and labor application including client setups and imports.
