Agile Logistics Support Manager, Senior – TS-SCI (AQP, Global Po with Security Clearance

Responsibilities The STAQSS contract supports the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ). The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations. **This position is currently telework eligible due to COVID, with on-site work happening 2-3 days per week. When the Pentagon re-opens fully, this position may be required to work on-site 4-5 days per week. AQP, Global Power Programs Directorate, directs, plans, and programs for development, procurement, and product support of $10B portfolio of global power programs. The portfolio includes legacy fighters such as the F-15, F-16 and A-10 as well as fifth-generation aircraft like the F-22 and F-35. It encompasses the entirety of the AF munitions procurements to include weapons currently used in OIR operations such as Joint Directed Attack Munition, Small Diameter Bomb, and Hellfire missiles. Finally, the Global Power portfolio captures the AF investments in nuclear triad to include the legacy and modernized ICBM and Cruise Missile programs. The Agile Logistics Support Manager, Senior supports the HAF budget preparation and defense as well as Senior Acquisition Executive (SAE) oversight and decision-making activities over key elements of the Agile Combat Support (ACS) portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, acquisition and sustainment efforts for vehicles, automated test equipment, common/peculiar support equipment, ejection seats, portable communications and navigation systems, battlefield airman systems, life support equipment/systems, etc. Tasks for this position include: * Gather, maintain, and analyze planning, scheduling and management data for programs within the ACS portfolio. * Gather requirements and pertinent data to formulate Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs associated with the ACS portfolio. * Prepare Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Documentation (PPBE) to ensure they accurately articulate the particular ACS program being supported. * Make recommendations to Government decision makers on programming, budgeting and year of execution adjustments to ensure program success taking into account risks, programming/fiscal challenges. * Provide recommendations to Government decision makers on requirements, acquisition and sustainment strategies. * Develop point papers, briefing/presentations, and response to queries/questions to internal/external taskings from Air Force leadership, OSD staff, and Congressional staffers. * Supporting the HAF review process of the ACS portfolio to include but not be limited Air Force Requirements Oversight Council (AFROC), Defense Acquisition Boards (DABs), Acquisition Strategy Panels, Air Force Review Boards, and others. * Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR. Qualifications Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility Master’s degree in any discipline. A total of 10 years of experience in the logistics field, with at least 3 years of experience supporting a HAF/MAJCOM or equivalent A4 staff. E xperience in/with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
