As an Administration and Program Support USAFCENT Chaplain you will be supporting the USAFCENT Chaplain and JA Directorate in the Shaw AFB, SC area. Serco supports the United States Air Force Central Command which is looking for an Administration and Program Support USAFCENT Chaplain to assist the customer in accomplishing all necessary internal operations to include administrative training, security, development, and implementation of organizational operating instructions and regulations of personnel related programs. You will be part of a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia. In this Administration and Program Support USAFCENT Chaplain role, you will: * Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and deposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence and with managing programs to include task management, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, UDM to include ART and SORTS programs, awards program, security program, supply program, records management, Defense Travel System (DTS), training program, and self-inspection program. * Attend required training, meetings, and functions as related to the prescribed unit programs. * Assist with ensuring unit programs comply with regulations, laws, policies, and directives. * Instruct others on changes in administrative policies and procedures. * Assist with developing, establishing, updating, and maintaining office procedures and records/files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office. Implements unit file plan. * Identify and implement processes which can be improved or made more efficient through application of automated technology or other methods, including SharePoint. * Leverage networks and technology to create office continuity. * Assist in role of FAM, coordinating management of and training for deployed personnel. Assists with legal orientation course for legal personnel deploying to USCENTCOM AOR. * Serve as POC for newly assigned personnel; introduces them to key personnel and schedules their initial training/orientation requirements. Qualifications To be successful in this Administration and Program Support USAFCENT Chaplain role, you will have: * High School Diploma/GED * Secret Security Clearance * Six years’ experience working military administration support requirements. * Four years’ experience in Microsoft Office applications/email systems or the equivalent. * One years’ experience in SharePoint.
