The Retail Customer Service Representative (CSR) handles all customer contacts received by telephone or face to face in the retail locations on a Part Time basis.
This team member will process customer applications, endorsements, payments and inquiries.RESPONSIBILITIESAnswer the telephone in a prompt and courteous mannerGive quotations, pricing, required information and directions to prospectsPrepare quotations for customers’ change requests to the policyRequest any missing or required information from customers and follow up for that informationScan applications dailyAssist sales agents with covering the retail office when the agent is performing outside marketingReceive and respond to all customer inquiries and complaintsResponsible for guiding complaint resolution to ensure proper and satisfactory closing are obtainedFollow up on a regular or as needed with customers on all open and unresolved customer issuesReport any and all out of line conditions affecting customer satisfactionJOB REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)One to three months related experience and/or training is preferredExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills needed for working with our customersAbility to read limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to compute basic percentages.Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions Skill and ability to use and operate a keyboard, computer, fax machine, scanner and copierMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to provide proof of automobile insurancePHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
