Warehouse and Forklift Operator

Our client, busy HVAC distributor in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator (sit-down) for a short term opportunity (4-6 weeks) in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $17 an hour.

Duties for the Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator position include:
Receiving, off-loading trucks, stocking and storing merchandise
– using forklift and hand truck.

Verify and inspect received items received Pick and verify orders for customers.

Load onto flatbed trucks, pickups, and vans.

Prepare orders for inter-office shipment as needed Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance Assist with inventory counts Cleaning and maintaining warehouse Willingness to accept other duties as assigned Great customer-service attitude and hustle
Requirements for the Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator position are:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Minimum six (6) months of sit-down forklift experience (forklift certification preferred, but not required) Heavy lift capability
– up to 50 pounds regularly Motivated, dependable, and is safe in their operation of the forklift Steel-Toed Shoes provided by employee

Hours for the Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator position are 7:30am
– 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay is $17 an hour.
