Position SummaryMust be capable of performing all in-house set-ups, assembly for all manufactured product lines which require such skills, performing and maintaining the necessary soldering certifications, perform all in-house set-ups and soldering.Proficient in sub-assembly, testing and inspection functions which include, but are not limited to, torque setting on fasteners, use of power tools, sub-assembly utilizing precision tooling & instruments, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certification a plus.Essential ResponsibilitiesCapable of performing set-ups and operates all assembly, soldering, inspection & test, and mechanical equipment for the electrical and mechanical assembly area(s) for Aerospace or Industrial products.Safety is a core value at ITT. Our employees understand and follow all ITT safety policies and procedures, participate in workplace inspections, safety training, and in the development of job safety analyses.Position Requirements* Minimum of 2-5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, manufacturing instructions, process sheets and other related documents.* The use of precision machines requires the ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply & divide as a minimum) and a broad trade knowledge of how the math applies to the equipment and related processes.* Experience with basic Microsoft applications* Ability to read and write in English.* Must be capable of explaining (verbal & written) the processes, and the results of the processes.* Must be willing to perform all necessary job related training.* In order to protect our employees and comply with the federal contractor vaccine mandates, we are requiring all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their start date. We will consider exceptions for religious and medical reasons, where appropriate. “Fully vaccinated” means you must have both doses of a 2-dose vaccine and two weeks have elapsed since the second dose, or have received 1 dose of a 1-dose vaccine and two weeks have elapsed since the dose.
