Raymond Building Supply is the area’s leading Building Material Supplier in Southwest Florida. We are looking for a full-time Truss Plant Assembler to join our North Fort Myers team! We are a continuous improvement driven organization and we are focused on keeping organized and on task.How you will spend you days as a Truss Plant Assembler:* Lay out component supplies and materials on carts or floors* Stock plates for component set-up, assist in the set-up of component assembly process* Assemble components under the direction of line leaders* Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets* Maintain work area by keeping it neat and organized* Monitor production workflow process and assisting in other production areas as needed* Adhere to established safety rules and regulations; follows all safety proceduresWe offer* Health care benefits, starting the first of month after 30 days of employment* Monday – Friday schedule* 401(k) with company match* Closed holidays* Paid time off* Employee discount* Relocation* Well support your educational and career goals with our continuous education programsWe want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:* Prior experience in yard, laborer or production highly preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right individual* Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer* Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses and staple guns* Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, lifting up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and up to 100 lbs or more on occasion. Dusty and noisy environment when operating woodworking machines and tools. Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time, eye protection and hard sole leather shoes required at all times.
