SL Recruit: Construction Manager

This company is a Developer that delivers a full array of real estate services including: acquisition/disposition, development/construction management, property management, asset management and financial reporting services.

This position is responsible for the planning, coordinating and execution of tenant improvements and construction projects.

This position is responsible for ensuring that the client’s requirements regarding the functionality and standards are met and that construction projects are concluded successfully and in accordance with the lease and budget.ResponsibilitiesPrepare budgets of both cost and schedule for Owner considered tenant improvement projects and capital projects using selected design team and contractors.

Manage the selection process of the design professionals.Obtain approval of the recommendation from the Landlord and/or Tenant, and negotiate all agreements and fees.

QualificationsExperience with communicating with Leasing Agents and Property Managers during Pre-Leasing phase of the project.

Experience with project entitlements including the management of the building permit approval process and the occupancy permit process.

Experience in the selection of the General Contractor/Construction Manager and negotiation of the Construction Agreement.

Experience in working with design consultants on the preparation of the space plans and tenant construction documents.
