Ruston Paving’s Durham division needs to fill the following positions:*Mechanic The mechanic is responsible for the on-site and off-site maintenance and repair of company owned and rented construction equipment, trucks and vehicles.

He is responsible for the organization, cleanliness and safe operation of tools and equipment in and around the shop and yard area as well as the mechanic’s truck.

Follows all safety requirements and procedures outlined by all regulatory agencies and company policies.*Dump Truck Drivers The dump truck driver drives trucks equipped with various configurations of dump body to transport and dump materials such as stone, asphalt, or other materials as needed.

The individual drives other vehicles and/or configurations as assigned and trained.

He may assist other craft workers in the performance of their duties.

He follows all safety requirements and procedures outlined by all regulatory agencies and company policies.*Equipment Operators A heavy equipment operator safely operates a variety of motorized equipment used in the construction, maintenance and repair of company construction projects.

The operator must perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the construction and maintenance of company construction projects.

May assist other craft workers.

Follows all safety requirements and procedures outlined by all regulatory agencies and company policies.Must pass drug test and be legal to work in US.

Must also possess valid driver’s license.
