Our mission is to provide opportunity for our people, take excellent care of our customers, and be good stewards of the environment and our community.We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to assist with our team our Lilburn, GA branch.Responsibilities:Hire, train, and supervise Purchaser, Production Manager and Project ManagersEnsure employee onboarding and employee evaluations are seamless and on timeEnsure that all policies and procedures are disseminated and followedDevelop bench strength throughout the branchExceed each customer’s expectation for quality, workmanship and serviceEstablish job cost goals and monitor performanceAllocate manpower and equipment resources to each Production or Project ManagerMaximize fleet usage and minimize rental equipment costsApprove all subcontract agreements prior to commencing workBuild relationships with subcontractors and ensure that they are managed effectivelyProvide feedback to the Estimators on the accuracy of direct cost estimatesEnsure that daily field reports are completed accuratelyReview all customer bills with the Contract Administrator and assist with collectionsConduct weekly production meetings and address challengesQualifications:Ability to analyze situations, consider options, and decide on actions quicklyExtensive knowledge of contracting, in general, and landscape installation OR construction site workAbility to establish productivity benchmarks and motivate employees to achieve goalsAbility to lead, develop and organize teams for professional successAbility to interpret and utilize accounting and financial reportsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, OutlookBackground in Construction Management, Engineering or Business Management a plusWhat we provide:Competitive salaryMedical benefits with dental and visionFlexible Spending Account401(k) planFlexible work/life balanceFamily-oriented company cultureRuppert Landscape is an Equal Opportunity and E-verify Employer
