It is expected that the Terminal Operator will have the ability to understand and follow operating procedures, safety first procedures and Company policies.Full-time position, some overtime may be required, must be flexibleAbout RSI Leasing:https://www.Rsilogistics.Com/rail-solutions/terminal-operations/somerset-ky/Responsibilities / Job Duties:Daily movement of materials in warehouse and perform other duties as assigned.Must have the ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies.Ability to operate equipment as needed.Required to perform work safely and productively.Willingness in being cross trained on all functions at the terminal facility some General Labor may be required.Must possess strong work ethic and the willingness to follow procedures.Keep work area clean and organized.Must not be afraid to ask questions.Read and write clearly and accurately fill out all required paperwork.Enforce all safety policies and procedures with other employees and visitors.Work independently and in a team setting in a helpful and professional manner.Interact with customers, railroad crews, and visitors, in a professional manner.Requirements/Qualifications:Ability to read, write, and understand English.Perform basic math skills.Light computer skills a plus.Possess a valid Driver’s License.Capable of learning how to operate and maintain transport equipment.Must have a willingness to learn new skills and be teachable.Must be available for full-time shift, M F and some weekends and overtime, generally 8:30 a.M.

5 p.M.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 1-2 years of experience handling bulk material, especially lumber or steelExperience driving and operating a Fork Lift required.Willing to work with liquid hazardous & dry bulk materials, as neededPhysical Requirements:Generally work inside warehouse.May work outside in EXTREME weather conditions 0 100+ degrees (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, etc).Possible dusty environment.Ability to work in repetitive motion all day in a fast paced environment.Lift and carry fifty (50) pounds consistently.Walk one (1) to two (2) miles per shift.Safety is our #1 Priority!Starting rate $12.00/hour This position is eligible for a rich benefit package including health insurance, dental, vision, disability and paid time off; plus more!Equal Opportunity Employment
