Servicing clients throughout the Long Island, New York tri-state region our dedication to our customers is the foundation of what allowed these two companies to stand together as one.RENU Milburn (RM) is seeking a highly motivated and talented Marketing Specialist to join it’s growing marketing and sales department.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, well organized, have proficient layout and design skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to produce written copy for a variety of mediums.
The primary focus of the Marketing Specialist is to support the various growth objectives including ecommerce, new products and services, and geographic expansion.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and quickly and efficiently develop digital or print assets.Primary Responsibilities:Branding and DesignAssist with designing and laying out marketing collateral as directed.Provide graphic design support for digital mediums such as emails, ads, and websites.Maintain brand consistency across all companies and amongst personnel representing the companies (RM).Support content creation and management (photo, video, graphic, written)Organizational SkillsAssist with maintenance of marketing calendar of events and trade shows.Coordinate printing efforts for marketing collateral and apparel.Assist in the organizing and cataloging of content folders.Public RelationsParticipate in the writing of press releases.Research and engage opportunities for media exposure.Assist in the creation of both the internal and customer newsletters.Sales SupportSupport salespeople and sales efforts as directed including event planning assistance and providing marketing collateral as directed.Learn and understand markets served and participate in planning growth strategies.CRM (Campaign and List Management)Participate in the production of marketing efforts.Assist in maintenance of marketing lists, campaigns, budgets, and calendar inside of Salesforce.Product KnowledgeDevelop a strong knowledge of RMS’s products and services to facilitate the sales and marketing process.Qualifications3-5 years’ experience in a marketing role or marketing support role.Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PremierePortfolio presentation is expected include URL to portfolio websiteUnderstanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts)Strong communication skills, written and verbal.Problem solving skills, common sense, positive attitude, and keen eye for detail.Time management and multitasking abilitiesTeam mentality and desire to participate in growth of department.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Database and PowerPoint.Have excellent business presentation skills.Superior computer skills and applications.The ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and vendors.CRM experience (Salesforce) is a plus.
