Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination Read, decode, and decipher freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracing process Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: This is an entry-level position. Good interpersonal skills required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Generally prefer 0-2 years of experience. Warehouse experience preferred. Hours: 10:30pm-7:00am Pay-$16.00 an hour Job Type: Full-timeJob Requirements: Load and unload trucks using a forklift Unload product into/from trucks using forklift/pallet jack Complete inhouse forklift training class and the forklift evaluation before operating a forklift Operate forklift truck using safe operating procedures Perform forklift preventative maintenance checks and attend forklift safety meetings Utilize a forklift to load and unload storage containers from delivery trucks Operate a reach forklift or pallet jack Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment, inside and out, for assigned storage center location Utilizing a forklift to load and unload storage containers Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift Operate forklift using forklift safety procedures and perform daily shift forklift checks Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper counts and documentation Unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
