This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted June 17, 2021.
Machine Operator FULL-TIME $20.25/hr $16/hr starting ($20.25/hr on 07/05/2021) Duties include producing molded products or parts from pre-mixed standard rubber or plastic compounds, observing continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary, measuring and visually inspecting products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments; positioning and securing work pieces on machines, and start feeding mechanisms; and turning valves and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates, and to set cycle times.
Removing finished or cured products from dies or molds, using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment; trimming excess material from parts, using knives, and grinding scrap plastic into powder for reuse; and cooling products after processing to prevent distortion.
