Quad: Pt Material Handler (Forklift Drivers) – $15/Hr.

We’re a company with a soul and a belief that we can always create a better way.We are currently seeking part-time Material Handlers (Forklift Drivers) to grow with us.

Candidates hired into this role will need to be available to work 12 hour shifts and have the ability to schedule 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am shifts.

We pay more for nigths!As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for inventory control on the production floor, ensuring that materials are brought efficiently and accurately to machines to keep production downtime to a minimum.

Other duties to include:Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMove product/skids with a hand jack, motorized Raymond (Big Joe) lift or Forklift (training provided)Servicing of press and finishing machines to move product throughout the plantMaintain accurate inventory of product with the use of an on board PC and RF bar coding systemLoading and unloading of finished product and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrapper using a forkliftComply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulationsEffectively communicate with team membersFollow all clean-up and housekeeping proceduresQualificationsThe successful candidate will have or be able to do the following: Must be at least 18-years of age or olderStrong computer skills preferredPrior forklift experience highly preferred, but not required.

Factory, Manufacturing or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary is preferred, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, warehouseetc.Printing, Finishing (Bindery) or Warehouseexperience is preferred.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problemsStrong mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.Good math skillsThe ability to use repetitive hand/wrist movementAbility to multi-task and prioritize job need.Ability to be a team player in a fast paced, detail orientated production environment.Ability to follow instructions and work independently.The flexibility to work2, 12 hour shifts per week is preferred from7 p.M.-7 a.M.A minimum of one shift per week is required.The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
