Summary

Project Manager Opening with Award Winning General Contractor specializing in retail and office interiors between 500K-5M. PMs are responsible for their projects from cradle to grave including submittals, buy-outs, change orders, estimating, etc. My client has strong negotiated relationships with in bank and financial intuition fit outs and new construction.

Description

  • Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package
  • Conduct project meetings, while setting milestones and formulating monthly owner report
  • Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
  • Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics
  • Manage the closeout process efficiently
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs while explaining how these needs could be met by specific company services
  • Supervise assistant operations support roles such as assistant project manager, administrative assistant, MEP managers, safety team members, etc.
  • Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project
  • Ability to estimate own work

Profile

  • 3+ years as a Project Manager within construction within the DC Metro is required
  • Associates Degree Required; Bachelor’s preferred
  • Experience with banking construction is a plus
  • Experience with retail construction, ground up and interiors, is preferred
  • Ability to estimate is required
  • Familiarity with Procore is a plus
