Job Description JOHANNA FOODS, INC. Beverage Plants’ Machine Operator and General Utility New Employee Position Highlights: – Starting rate: $15.50/hour -Shift differential: $.40/hour for Afternoon Shift (3PM-11PM) and Night Shift (11PM-7AM) -Annual increase: $1.00/hour until reaching $20.50/hour -Retirement Savings Account: Employer contributes $1.00/hour up to a maximum of 40 hours/week the first year; increased Employer contributions over time up to 40 hours/week -First dollar Healthcare Benefits for employee and all eligible dependents after 120 days of employment -Company paid life insurance -Full-time, 40-hour work week plus overtime opportunities -Company paid vacation, holidays and sick days -60-day probationary period -Company-issued uniform -Employee Take Home Store – Employee credits for Johanna products Eligible after successfully passing the Company’s pre-employment physical and background check Qualifications: -High School Diploma or GED preferred. -Experience in similar environment a plus. -Requires the ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic computations. -Requires dexterity, basic mechanical reasoning, problem solving and the ability to learn. -Good verbal and interpersonal skills. -Maintain a clean and organized work area that promotes safety and efficiency. -Able to work varied shifts, including weekends. Responsibilities: -Job duties vary but will involve operating machines including but not limited to: forklifts, fillers, down lines, incubators, labelers, palletizers, and blow molds. -Ensure compliance with applicable quality system standards and the unit’s food safety and security programs in support of essential manufacturing strategies and practices.
