Production Machine Operator

Bridon-Bekaert, The Ropes Group (BBRG), a division of Bekaert, is a multi-million dollar company designing and manufacturing of steel and fiber ropes for diverse lifting applications; oil and gas, surface and underground mining, overhead lifting, ports, steel mills and fishing. We are looking for production members to join our Exeter team. We are rapidly expanding & looking to hire multiple, high quality, hardworking individuals who would like to start their last job. We are currently in the midst of an expansion and many of our 30 – and 40-year employees are approaching retirement. you will be entering into a Union environment with great pay & benefits.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Setting up equipment
• Loading materials and operating machinery
• Monitoring and optimizing efficiency
• Maintaining machines by cleaning and greasing as needed
• Performing quality checks
• Attention to detail
• Be able to troubleshoot
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to lift up to 5 pounds, ben, and walk or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as needed and to work as a team with effective communication
• May need to drive a forklift

Tools used (non all inclusive): wire cutter, wrenches, hammer, vice grips, pliers, screwdriver, needle nose pliers, scraper, broom, measure devices

May encounter: lubrications, oils, grease, soap dust, kerosene, propane, acetylene, oxygen

Must be able to pass:

• Pre-employment drug screen

This job is a fast paced, heavy manufacturing environment located in a non-temperature controlled facility.
