Production Assembler

Balance Staffing is hiring Production Assemblers in Livermore, CA with a well-established organization who have been in business for 50+ years. This is a temp-to-hire role with a 90-days probationary period for evaluation.

We are interested in hiring motivated individuals who are dependable, reliable and desire to be part of a dynamic team. The business currently supplies exclusive vehicle interiors parts to large automotive companies.

Job Duties:

• Perform hands-on assembly that involves direct contact with door panels

• Follow the Standard of Operation procedures for door assembly and inspections to detect defects

• Ensure accuracy in product builds

• Working in a fast paced environment on the production line

• Utilizing power tools and hand tools

• Effectively communicate with team members, leaders and supervisors

• Maintain good housekeeping using the 6s principles

• Provide leadership with necessary information for continuous improvement in processes

Requirements:

• At least 6 recent months of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Physically able to stand, lift, squat and do repetitive motions frequently/long periods of time

• Ability to read, write, follow and comprehend work instructions

• Ability to work a flexible schedule with possible weekends work and overtime required

• Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements. I.e. background check, drug screening, physical, and/or employment verification at time of offer acceptance.

Incentives:

• 90 days temp to hire

Pay Rates & Work Shifts:

• $17.50/hr A: Mon-Fri 6AM – 2:30PM

• $18.50/hr B: Mon- Fri 2PM – 10:30PM

• $19.00/hr C: Mon-Fri 10PM – 6:30AM

***Mandatory overtime and based on production needs***

Job Requirements:

• Resolve assembly and production issues
• Perform assembly on parts assembly line process for light industrial manufacturing
• Perform production packing and assembly work for a warehouse or production company
• Operate designated assembly/packaging equipment
• Interpret assembly drawings to perform basic assembly operations
• Exceeding quality and production standards
• Prepare and clean assembly area prior to production setup
• Assemble parts into complete assembly
• Depending upon how similar previous work experience is
• Set up assembly for production
• Maintain quality and/or production standards
• Searching for a production associate
• Participate as an active member of the production assembly team and assemble products
• Inspect product to verify production specifications
• Completing production and quality forms
• Maintain required quality and production levels
• Operate filler and production line
• Perform light assembly of products
• Coordinate all production and non-production activities to meet production, quality, and safety goals (KPI)
• Monitor quality of parts used in the assembly process
