An assembler at Roto must perform all functions in a safe manner per prescribed in the job procedures, standard work and on-the-job training
Tasks:
Accountable for daily assembly in production
Assemble parts to complete units or subassemblies.
Use hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment/ tooling.
Reassembles or reworks units as required.
Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
Observe all safety requirement
Operate a rivet machine
Package finished goods
Perform daily housekeeping functions as required.
Requirements
Attention to detail and willingness to perform a variety of job functions.
Ability to follow safety procedures, standard work instructions and work in a safe manner.

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Must wear gloves and safety glasses

This is a 2nd shift position (Monday-Friday; 3:30 pm to 12:00 pm) located in Chester, CT
