Printing Machine Operator

**POSITION PROFILE**Accountable for the results of demonstrating creative and innovative problem-solving abilities resulting in contribution tothe state of the art.Performs the debug of, original or prototype equipment, products, devices, components or experiments.Performs lab administration and machine maintenance tasks in support of printer operators and engineersRequires minimal direct supervision and assistance. Performs most current assignments independently. May needtechnical guidance on new assignments.**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**• Sets up, and performs involved tests, procedures, experiments, simulations or changes.• Records and organizes technical data and observation. Assists engineers, scientists or senior specialist byanalyzing and interpreting data or observations.• Obtains general objectives from engineers, scientists, or senior specialists, receiving information and instructionappropriate to the assignment.• May be consulted in project planning to establish schedules.• Receives general objectives from manager, engineers, scientists, or senior specialist.• Responsible for results of assistance provided to other personnel. Recognizes errors in a wide variety of work andassures corrective action is taken. Errors could involve future financial losses, due to wasted work or faultyconclusions.• Regular technical liaison with others outside of own department including subcontractors. Typically works withengineers and scientists in receiving information and planning assignments.• Moderate impact on business, given the technical and logistics role in providing for the project they support.• Understands the function, operating principles, and adjustment of tools and equipment utilized in assignments.Recognizes proper and improper operation of equipment and takes corrective action.• Proficient in the use of specialized tools and equipment. Utilizes appropriate programming languages as required.• Anticipates approximate results from most activities in order to recognize and correct own and others’ errors• Prepares technical reports and keeps technical records on assigned projects.• Provides technical assistance and information to other personnel.• Assists in lab operation and preventative maintenance tasks, as needed• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)**Specialized knowledge of engineering disciplines or physical sciences such as electronics, logic, mechanics, hydraulics,plastics, metallurgy, ceramics and materials, design, layout, chemistry, physics, or mathematics.Knowledge obtained through formal training such as vocational training program, military technical schools, or othereducation programs.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**• Position requires regular interaction and collaboration on technical issues with both department and functionalpeers or subject matter experts and may occasionally have discussions with technical and engineering staff atdifferent locations.• Negotiation may be required to resolve basic technical issues.• Moderate degree of analytical ability, ingenuity, and a highly specialized technical ability are necessary to modifyor develop new, unusual or more involved designs, layouts, products, devices, methods or procedures.**Additional Pay Details:**Compensation range is: $24-$31 per hourClick Here to view RicohUSA Benefits (https://www.ricoh-usa.com/en/about-us/careers)
