Job Overview: The Warehouse Associate under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor will have responsibility for receiving raw materials, shipping finished product, and maintaining accurate inventory countsShift : 7AM 3:30PM Monday Friday, OT availablePay: $17 $19/hr Direct HireCompany Benefits:Medical/Dental401k Match/HSAUniform/shoe allowanceQuarterly bonusPTOand moreKey Duties:Daily Receiving Activities – receives and checks in raw materials, packaging and supplies. Daily Shipping Activities – picks, stages, and prepares outbound shipping of products to Customers. Support managing inventory with the use of ERP system, Kanban, and cycle counting programsInterface with Customer Service, Production, and Purchasing to ensure orders are shipped and delivered on timeManage documentation and use of financial and accounting programs as applicable to warehouse activities – receiving, shipping, and inventory management.Participate in our Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement Programs within the warehouse departmentKey Requirements:High School DiplomaMinimum of 6 months Experience in materials handling in a manufacturing environmentGood computer skills: experience using accounting and shipping and inventory management programsMinimum of 6 months of Forklift Experience Knowledge of DOT, HAZMAT shipping programs (IATA, CFR 49, FEDEX and UPS systems) preferred but not necessary “Can do” attitude suited to a fast paced team/matrix atmosphere.
