Position Summary:Responsible for the distribution, storage and shipment of finished product in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:Remove finished goods / raw materials from production lines or to production lines and place in warehouse or production.Adheres to all work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping procedures.Document all shipments both inbound and outbound.Repairing any units damaged during their shift.Verify that the quality of the product sent outbound meets customer expectations.Responsible for maintaining ISO standards.Operate a forklift in warehouse, production and shipping areas of the plant.Ensure finished goods are properly labeled, marked and scanned before putting product into storage or loading it onto trucks.Move finished goods into dock area for shipment.Properly scan product to maintain proper inventory counts.Inspect truck to ensure it is clean and there is no damage to the trailer that would cause damage to the product.Correctly and accurately complete assigned paperwork.Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Initiate action(s) for food safety issues and report the issue(s) and action(s) taken to a member of the Food Safety Team.Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
