PDS Tech Is Currently Seeking a Processor I

Job Summary:
This role will perform a variety of repetitive assembly. This will include hardware unpacking, assembly packaging and handling of chemicals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Places parts in specific relationship to each other with extreme accuracy
• Operates and tends automatic and manual processing equipment
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures
• Works at different work stations as production needs require
• Performs general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees
• Performs general maintenance of equipment as required
• Ability to recognize and report all operational variances as trained

Requirements, Education & Skills:

• As directed by Executive Order 14042: Ensuring adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, our client will require all new hired employees to provide proof of compliance with the vaccination mandates directed by the Order
• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
• 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.
• Ability to be at work on time and on a consistent basis.
• Excellent team interaction and communication is a priority for this role.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• CNC experience is a plus.
