Individual must setup and operate machine in a safe manner.Job Description:* Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by department Supervisor.* Responsible for working in a safe manner.* Responsible for ensuring product specifications are attained.* Performs job assignment in a cost conscious manner.* Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.* Responsible for being at workstation on time each workday.* Works as a team player and communicates with other department members.* Ability to be flexible as to various job assignments and working conditions.* Responsible for following Good Manufacturing Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, plant rules and policies.* Must be able to pick up 16 pounds repetitively.* Responsible for installing, removing, cleaning and re-taping of seal bars.* Straightens and aligns each bag on the seal bar.* Must keep pace with the line.* Adjusts line speed for various products.* May be involved in lubrication of 8600.* Starts and stops the 8600 machine.* May be involved in set-up and tear-down/put-away.* Responsible for bringing problems with equipment to Supervisor or Lead Person.* Responsible for the 8600 machine.* Responsible to monitor correct and legible sell-by dated product.Location:Jarratt, VATime Type:Full timeDepartment:Packaging 1st Shift
