Our manufacturing facilities are located in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Toronto, Ontario, Fort Edward, New York, and Macon, Georgia.Irving Tissue is seeking multiple permanent, full-time Logistics Operators for future opportunities. The successful candidate will have a “Can Do” attitude, is passionate about achieving results and driving improvement.Responsibilities:* Operate mobile equipment with precision and safely within a production facility* Remove recyclable materials from the production line and deliver to the appropriate destination* Complete regular check list reports for both forklift safety and list of duties* Report any mechanical or other problems relating to mobile equipment via forklift inspections report or other mediums* Work with a team of employees which include logistics, production, and maintenance* Contribute to safety by maintaining the warehouse and production area in a neat* Remove raw material waste and dispose in compacting equipmentQualifications:* Education Required: High School Diploma or GED or Trade Certification* Years of Experience Required: <2 years* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including experience working with tools and /or equipment* Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills* Proficiency with computers and technology* Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team member* High degree of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Must be organized and have demonstrated the ability to multi-task* Ability and willingness to learn and grow* Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts, which include nights and weekendsWhat We Offer:* Wage range of $17.14 - $18.21/hour depending on experience, qualifications and professional certifications.* Excellent Benefits* Including health, dental, life insurance, disability insurance, 401k match, vacation, tuition & wellness reimbursement, and more.* Advancement Opportunities* There are plentiful opportunities to promote to higher level positions in our organization.
