URGENT NEED!Where:Noviland Corp4150 Shackleford RdNorcross, GA 30093Rate: $16/hr!Shifts available for immediate start (applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis!):5/21 9am-5pm5/22 9am-5pm5/23 9am-5pm5/24 9am-5pm5/25 9am-5pm5/26 9am-5pm5/27 9am-5pm5/28 9am-5pm5/29 9am-5pmSummary The Forklift Operator operates a gas or electric lift truck to move materials, parts, or finished stock within warehouse, including stacking of pallets or other loads and maneuvering in congested areas.

This role is responsible for manual loading and unloading of freight with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck or forklift, general labor and warehouse maintenance.Essential Duties: Actively support the companys culture and business mission by always putting TCPs people and its customers first.

Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.-Efficiently stock and store product in appropriate areas.-Loading, unloading, moving, stocking and staging products and materials using a standup high reach/narrow aisle stacker, forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.-Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.-Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.-Report quality variances.-Actively participate in team roles and team development, including continuous improvement initiatives to meet cycle time, schedule and quality objectives.-Keep work area clean and safe.

Assure trash is removed from work area in a timely manner and is properly disposed.

All unused material is properly returned to stock.

Conform to departmental 5S guidelines.-Maintain the facilitys equipment and materials are in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.-Assist in physical inventories.-Work cohesively with others toward department goals, create a positive working environment and offer support and assistance to enhance team performance; working collaboratively with co-workers and management to achieve department goals and objectives.-Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.-Other responsibilities or projects assigned by manager.Experience/Requirements-Minimum of 2+ years experience operating a forklift within a warehouse setting.Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.-Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.-Perform required work with a high degree of independence.-Identify and resolves problems in a timely manner.-Balances team and individual responsibilities.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKAs):-Ability to drive and/or operate heavy equipment.-Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.-Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.-Ability to use automated inventory control equipment.-Ability to work in team environment; with others as a team and has the ability to work effectively together on the team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.Education/Training:-High school diploma or GED required.-Valid state issued driver”s license preferred.Physical/Environmental:-Position requires frequent talking, hearing, and vision with frequent standing, walking and reaching.-May require lifting up to 50 lbs.-Job position responsibilities are generally performed in a warehouse environment.-Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or tools.-Ability to load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 100 pounds.-Ability to mount and dismount forklift through the duration of the shift which requires bending, stretching, stepping, reaching, climbing, and stooping.by Jobble
