Mitchell Contracting: Construction/Coatings Superintendent

Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be directly responsible for the following job functions:Direct oversight of project field staff/crews and sub-contract supervision/coordination.Provide daily project updates to project management staff for assigned projects.Serve as the direct point of contact for field related items with project stakeholders.Verify all safety requirements are met on all projects.Update project management staff of completion percentages for billing purposes.Verify contract compliance and adherence to scope requirements on projects.Guarantee all field crews have necessary materials and equipment to prevent production loss.Aid project management staff in the development and required updates for work load operation schedule.This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in a related field and commercial/industrial coatings experience is preferred.This position will require a state issued driver license and a driving record that can be verified for insurance purposes as this position will require use of a company vehicle.Education RequirementsMinimum Associates Degree in a Construction Related Field or applicable field experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 $65,000.00 per yearExperience:Construction: 5 years (Required)Education:Associate (Required)Location:Houston, TX (Required)Language:English/Spanish a plus (Required)Work authorization:United States (Required)
