Eaton’s Electrical Power Systems division is currently seeking a Machine Operator & Welder (RAS) – 2nd Shift to join our team, pay starting at $21.45 – 22.74/hour, depending on experience. Shift Premium of $1.25/hour. The hours for this position are from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. This position is based at our Badger Drive facility in Waukesha, WI.
This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000*, less applicable withholding.
*Bonus terms:
• Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after June 11, 2021 to qualify.
• Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
• Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
• Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $2000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment.
The RAS Machine Operator and Welder is responsible for the operation of the Ras folding machine, cabinet welding, and setup material handling. Responsible for performing the various job functions as described in the job description at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality. Operators must be willing to perform various duties and assist all other team members as needed to meet production goals.

Operate folding machine to fabricate various cubicle and cabinet parts, and perform productive maintenance on folding machine as needed
Determine if material is to specs., also checks prints for ECN’s, etc. and for latest revisions
Operate crane, electric stackers, and other mechanical assists to move, position and unload heavy parts and assemblies
Check material specifications, dimensions on shop orders and prints or ECN’s against customer specifications for accuracy
Indicate sub-parts required for cubicle cabinets.
Operate a mig welding machine and air grinder to fabricate parts as needed
Check parts against prints to assure proper dimensions and locations
Be responsible for proper fit and appearance of finished part according to quality specifications, using mild and stainless steels
Set-up material in positioner, jig or fixtures. Also make simple layouts when required
Weld or stud weld various types of hardware to part being built
Tack welds part, adjusting wire feed for proper size weld seam
Grind excess weld and trim edges for fit of parts and appearance
Complete other duties as assigned.
