Nordson MEDICAL works with doctors, start-ups and large medical companies around the world at any point in the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.Job SummaryThe PTFE Operator II operates machinery and controls the process to produce quality finished product.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities* Set up and size PTFE Extrusion lines* Set up, run and troubleshoot downstream equipment* Set up, run and troubleshoot all programmable or automated production and measurement equipment* Identify non-conforming product, implement resolution and report to immediate supervisor* Maintain clean working environment* Comply with safety and quality standards* Follow company guidelines and procedures* Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentSkills and Abilities* Ability to assist all operators on SOPs and departmental operations* Ability to work independently.* Ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors effectively.* Ability to see small items.Working Conditions and Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
