Machine Operator (Production)

We develop, weave, laminate and finish to the highest quality standards – whether for Sailing or Technical. Job Requirements: This position will train on the first shift of a 3 shift operation. Training will take up to 3 months. Final shift assignment is dependent on expected retirement(s). Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Test operation of machines periodically Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep detailed records relating to machine operations and quality issues Maintain activity logs Skills Proven experience as a machine operator preferred Working knowledge in manufacturing environments Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Capable of working closely in two man teams and/or alone Vaccination against Covid 19 is required for all new hires.
