Biomerics NLE uses state-of-the-art programming software and keeps our manufacturing equipment up to date with the current technologies available.We are currently seeking Machine Operators to join our growing teamJob Requirements: The Machine Operator (Machinist) applies principles for CNC machine operating, tool off-setting, inspect machine parts, deburr parts, accurate data keeping, and basic maintenance of equipment.Responsibilities Include:Operate CNC machine tools, select and use hand tools, deburr partsRead and comprehend information on blueprints and shop job travelersUse basic precision measurement toolsPerform basic quality assurance responsibilities for part productionFollow all standardized work procedures and specific instructions given by the supervisorOther duties may be assignedRequirements: Basic math skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.Strong written and oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environmentAbility to effectively communicate with employees of the organization.Ability to understand how their actions may impact other portions of the businessEducation and Experience:High School graduate or General Education Degree (G.E.D.); and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Working Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly in all areas of the building (manufacturing, inspection, shipping/receiving, and office).
