This is a Full-time position in Putnam, CT posted June 15, 2021.
Work regularly involves concentrated visual acuity and mental attention to perform secondary operations while maintaining machine cycle.
Color determination, finger dexterity, and eye/hand coordination are also required. Work requires light physical demand, moving about, bending, and exerting 5-25 pounds of force frequently.
Machine tender must remain at the machine during entire shift, unless relieved for breaks and meal periods. Operator is also exposed to significant heat and noise during machine operations.

Job Description
Tend to designated machines/ Cycle as specified Inspect Molded parts according to specification.
Package parts in specified manner, ensure it moves to next operation.
Grind scrap and runners as needed, record scrap on production orders.
Label containers with part number, name, lot number and quantity.
All documents are to be recorded.
Perform secondary objectives as assigned.
o Operating variety of hand tools; lathes, milling machines and automated assembly lines.
o Drill, cut, grind, bore, machine, assemble, weld, or anneal parts.
o Maintain set-ups and tolerances.
Visual and dimensional measurements inspections Package, weigh, and count product.
Complete all documents and send completed project to next area.
Report and Faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations to supervisor or troubleshooter immediately.
Comply with ALL safety rules and procedures throughout shift.
All employees are expected to maintain a clean and functional work area.

Must be able to read blueprints, product specifications and interpret/ communicate such information.
