Machine Operator

Job Description Job Summary: Maintain, control, and operate machines and equipment that are used in the manufacturing of smaller production equipment and other utility products.

Position requires a commitment to quality, safety and communication.

Must follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor/manager.

Primary Tasks: 1.

Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties.

2.

Ensure all materials are readily available.

3.

Effectively monitor production equipment.

4.

Assist materials handlers as necessary.

5.

Maintain a safe and clean work space.

6.

Follow established safety rules and regulations.

7.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

· 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

· Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
