What you will be doing:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for independently performing and managing with the following capability and objectives:
Read and interpret job instructions before machine set-up
Set up and operate production machines following procedures and guidelines
Perform quality checks and monitor productivity numbers during the production run and adjust machine settings as required
Manage set-ups and change-overs, per specifications
Effectively problem-solve under pressure.
Complete machine /line clearance at the end of each production run and 5-S Lean disciplines at the end of each shift
Understand and support production quality and/or minor repairs on machinery to further these objectives.
Work effectively in a dynamic production environment and embrace a positive teamwork approach.
Pursue cross-training and skill development on multiple machines and operate machines as assigned.
Other duties as assigned
The Machine Operator SL2 & above Level status is based on cumulative skill point rating and proficiency.
What skills you will need:
Bindery Experience
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Project Ticket procedural requirements, documentation, and closure steps.
Applicable machine computer skills
Ability to set up and maintain accurate placement of inkjet text at the designated print position
Ability to pass OJT qualification review check after each machine operation procedural training steps are complete.

Pay: $12.40
– $16.00 per hour
