Machine Operator

This is a Full-time position in North Kingstown, RI posted February 12, 2022.

More than 30,000 organizations already rely on us to verify the identities of people and things, grant access to digital services, analyze vast quantities of information and encrypt data to make the connected world more secure.The Machine Operator for our North Kingstown location will operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers’ specifications.

Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily / monthly goals.

Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.

Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards.

Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective or contingency action.

Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies & procedures.Key Responsibilities:* Must be able to work in a high-paced environment* Operate card production equipment and perform related activities* Confirm work receipt* Formulate and implement work priority decisions* Exceed production output and quality standards* Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions* Work independently performing quality inspections on own work to production standards* Maintain a clean and orderly work area* Identify potential production and quality problems; recommending remedial, corrective or contingency action* Work with other operators, technicians and supervisory staff to assist with problems and to an effective work environment* Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies/procedures* Must possess basic computer skills* Maintain housekeeping standards of workstation* Order supplies as needed* Attend appropriate training and meetings as required* Meet safety standardsRequired Skills and Experience:* High School Diploma or equivalent experience* Basic computer skills* Basic math skills required* Good communication skills in both written and verbal* Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form* Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
– but able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and prioritiesPreferred Skills and Experience:* 1-3 years’ experience in mechanical ability* 1-3 years’ experience in safety rules and maintenance instructions* Intermediate computer skillsSpecial Requirements* Required to be standing and operating a machine 6+ hours a day* Schedule:* Ability to work flexible hours and flexibility to work varying shifts at least once per month;* Ability to work during weekends when required;This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
