Job Description Job Description MACHINE OPERATOR HELPER – Full-time, 2nd (3pm-11pm), & 3rd (11pm-7am) Shifts available IN ADDITION TO SUBMITTING A RESUME ONLINE, APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO VISIT THE OFFICE TO APPLY IN PERSON Multi-Plastics, Inc. – 210 Commodore Dr. – Swedesboro, NJ (856) 241-9014 Multi-Plastics is a leader in the converting and distribution of plastics used in window envelopes, food and product packaging, labels, print-on plastics and thermoformed containers. Job Summary: The Helper will assist the Machine Operator as needed throughout the shift. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reading/following job instructions and complete work as specified. Arrange and prepare the master rolls at the unwind area of the slitting process. Set shafts for each run. Starting and stopping of machine. Remove finished rolls from shafts. Correctly stack and label all rolls. Measure and cut cores Maintain a clean work area, machine, tools and equipment Perform other duties as assigned. Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards along with continuous quality and production improvements. Skill requirements: Ability to read general information and follow directions Ability to read a ruler and measuring tape. Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push and/or pull and lift weight on a continuous basis. Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required.
