Machine Operator

Machine Operator (All Shifts)

• Sets up and run most any feasible job.

• Recommends ideas and concepts for efficient fixturing.

• Interprets blue prints with thorough understanding to determine product requirements.

• Thoroughly understands shop math to determine acceptance criteria.

• Develops process for new products and works with sales and or directly with the customer.

• Sets up jobs for other production operators.

• Sets up and runs short or long running complex jobs and monitors quality and process stability.

• Assists in planning decisions when necessary.

• Obtains necessary inspections and follows QMS.

• Follows applicable QMS Documents, Procedures, and Process Maps.

• Completes inspection forms in a neat and professional manner.

• Handles nonconforming product appropriately.

• Participates in product dispositions as necessary.

• Works effectively under a time restricted environment at times.

• Performs visual inspections as needed.

• Helps ensure nonconforming material is labeled properly.

• Checks process settings to ensure parts meet specified requirements (power, focus, time, etc.).

• Keeps work area organized and promotes good housekeeping.

• Performs material handling or pack and unpacking when appropriate.

• High School Diploma, G.E.D, or 5 years of applicable experience.
