Machine Operator – 5051

FULL-TIME

$18.07/hr, plus $500 new hire bonus, see details below

This person will operate and tend machines designed to produce polyisocyanurate insulation products according to exacting quality and manufacturing specifications.

Job responsibilities:
• Housekeeping of plant inside and out
• Attend various meetings to provide input on processing problems and changes to process and equipment
• Maintaining 5S checklists, performing 5S audits and completing TPM checklists
• Attend various meetings to provide input on processing problems and changes to process and equipment
• Manage defective product and stay calm in a fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrate the awareness and ability to safely perform all aspects of Lockout/Tagout
• Accurately use and read a tape measure to 1/16″; calipers to .001″.
• Offline work (sumps, hips, valleys)
• Cutting feet
• Perform equipment PM’s as scheduled and coordinated with maintenance as needed
• Effectively communicate with others in a clear, accurate and timely manner using written and verbal communications, including the use of 2-way radios

Shift start: 10:00PM
Shift length: 8.5 hours
Sunday – Thursday

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Must pass physical abilities test At least 3 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.Prior experience operating a forklift is preferred
