Machine Operator

We are currently looking to hire a Machine Operator in our Santa Fe Springs, CA plant.

WORK HOURS/SHIFTS:

1st SHIFT = 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

2nd SHIFT = 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

3rd SHIFT = 11:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

The ideal candidate is an individual who desires to lead through example, is professionally respected, an excellent communicator, and possesses a strong understanding of safety principles.

Job Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate production machines.
• Perform moderate repairs and maintenance to ensure continuous machine operation and production of product.
• Organize and assign work.                                                                                            
• Provide functional guidance.                                                                                      
• Train and assist lower-level machine operators, production workers, and forklift operators.                                                                                                           
• Perform set-up and major adjustments on machinery.                                                  
• Operate production machines.                                                                                           
• Monitor machines constantly while in operation.
• Able to lift over 10lbs.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment problems.                                    
• Work closely with lead mechanic and maintenance personnel.                                        
• Check and verify production orders.                                                                      
• Perform established quality control checks.                                                
• Check machine before start-up.                                                                             
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other functions and duties as assigned or necessary.
• Able to work additional shifts and Overtime.

Minimum Requirements:

·       General education equivalent to two years of High School or Vocational School.

·       Minimum 4 years of production experience required.

·       Mechanical and leadership skills required.

·       Able to use Allen wrenches, open end wrenches, and other general tools.
