Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Summary:
The QTI Group has partnered with a growing food manufacturer located in New Berlin, WI who is currently seeking a hardworking and dependable Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience in food or beverage manufacturing. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity on 2nd shift; pay is based upon experience.
Pay: $20/hr. – $22/hr.
Hours: 3:30PM to 11:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise on canning related machinery such as filling, seaming, and packing
- Conducting/ overseeing and documenting all can line and repack QA checks to ensure statistical accuracy
- Always follow GMP’s and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure equipment and product quality is maintained
- Extensive maintenance and sanitation of the canning line
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent is desired
- Previous experience working in a bottling and canning facility required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to problem solve and work independently and/or collaboratively with others
